BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic has been being used in cosmetic procedures since 2002 with staggering results and popularity. Since the FDA has approved it for cosmetic use, over five million BOTOX® Cosmetic injections have been administered in the United States alone. This popularity is largely due to its effectiveness.
One series of BOTOX® Cosmetic injections (a simple procedure that lasts approximately ten minutes) will dramatically reduce wrinkle lines for up to four months. Since the procedure is non-surgical, patients often prefer it to a facelift because it is less expensive and requires little to no healing time.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is useful in treating:
- Lip lines
- Wrinkles and smile lines around the eyes
- Forehead creases
- Lines between the eyes
- Vertical lines on the neck
BOTOX® Cosmetic is safe, easy and relatively inexpensive. Made from a sterile form of the Botulinum Toxin A, it works by preventing muscle contraction where BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected. It may take a few days for the muscle to completely relax and the line or wrinkle to become less noticeable. There may be some redness at the point of the injection.
If you are interested in BOTOX® Cosmetic and live in Houston or Sugar Land, Texas or surrounding areas, please contact the office of Dr. Michael Ciaravino to schedule an appointment for a consultation today.

Breast Lift
Over time women's breasts have a strong tendency to sag and lose their shape. This is a perfectly natural way that gravity and age affect the body as we get older. Most women, however, would prefer to keep their breasts looking like they did before they were pregnant, lost weight, or simply got older.
If you are one of these women then a breast lift may be your best avenue towards getting your body back to what it once was. Hiring a world leader in breast surgery like Dr. Michael Ciaravino will help to ensure that you get the results you want from this operation.
Breast Lift and Breast Augmentation
Many women choose to get breast implants along with their breast lift. There is only so much that even a highly skilled plastic surgeon can do to give you the youthful shape and feel of the breasts you want without the use of implants. Consult with us about your needs and Dr. Ciaravino will use the latest in 3D imaging to give you an accurate representation of how your breasts will look with and without implants after your breast lift.
If you live in Sugar Land or Houston, Texas or surrounding areas and are interested in a breast lift, or if you simply want to work with one of the leading plastic surgeons in the field of breast surgery and are willing to travel, please contact board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Ciaravino to schedule a consultation today.

Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is an operation for women who are uncomfortable with the large size of their breasts both physically and mentally. Even at a young age women with overly large breasts can experience sagging, neck and upper back pain, and skin rashes, not to mention social discomfort over their breast size.
After undergoing breast reduction surgery, these same women find that they have almost the exact same body they had before the operation except with breasts that they can be proud of and that do not cause them physical discomfort.
The breast reduction procedure will take two to three hours and is performed in the hospital, but you will be able to leave the same day. New techniques will keep scarring to a minimum. Some of the risks with breast reduction surgery include visible scarring, loss of sensation, and problems healing.
If you have overly large breasts that cause you physical discomfort, please contact board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Ciaravino to schedule a consultation, and find out if breast reduction is the right choice for you. Dr. Ciaravino serves the Houston and Sugar Land, Texas area, but has patients who have come to see him from around the world.

Tummy Tuck
If, for any reason, you have sagging or stretch-marked skin around your abdomen you may want to consider a tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, as an option for removing the excess skin that is getting in the way of you having the body you want. Many people choose to combine a tummy tuck with liposuction in order to better define the abdominal muscles or a breast augmentation to provide a more complete full body makeover. Dr. Michael Ciaravino has the ability to help you get the body you have always dreamed of.
Tummy Tuck Procedure
The tummy tuck procedure begins by administering a general anesthetic. Dr. Ciaravino then begins by making a small incision below the bikini line and one more around the navel. At this point, if liposuction is needed, excess fat is removed from around the belly and sutures are placed along the stomach muscles to achieve a more defined look for the stomach. The excess skin is then removed and the skin and navel are reattached at the incision points.
If you are thinking about getting a tummy tuck and you live in Houston or Sugar Land, Texas or the surrounding areas, please contact the office of Dr. Michael Ciaravino to have any questions you might have about this operation answered by one of the leading plastic surgeons in the nation.
